A Collaborative Pride Morning Gathering

To create a welcoming, safe and supportive pre-march space at Lovelocks Coffee Shop for individuals attending Liverpool Pride who may be:

  • Marching for the first time
  • Attending alone or feeling nervous
  • Looking to meet new people
  • Living with accessibility or social anxiety needs
  • Seeking a calm and friendly environment to gather before heading to the main parade

 

8.30am:

 

Lovelocks opens early

 

 

8.30am – 9.45am

 

·       Free drinks and snacks available (courtesy of Sahir)

 

·       Creative placard-making at the back-bench tables

 

·       Chilled social space supported by Parade Pals, Sahir staff and volunteers

 

·       March registration help available on the day for anyone who hasn’t yet signed up

 

·       Organisers to encourage people to buy tickets for the pride arena celebration

 

·       Board Gaymes Liverpool team to bring welcoming, gentle board games and conversation starters

 

 

9.50am

 

Group departs together for Pier Head to join the official muster speeches and march as one connected unit.
