❓ Who is the Children, Young People & Families Zone for?
This zone is designed for LGBTQ+ children, young people, families, and allies of all ages. We want to make sure everyone feels welcome, included, and safe to celebrate Pride together.
We’re especially focused on creating accessible, affirming spaces for:
✅ LGBTQ+ young people (14–25)
✅ LGBTQ+ families and carers
✅ Allies and friends
✅ Neurodivergent participants
✅ Disabled participants
❓ Where is the Youth & Family Zone happening?
📍 Museum of Liverpool, Pier Head Waterfront – our main Saturday venue, with step-free access and accessible facilities.
📍 LUSH Liverpool, Church Street – hosting the Friday Pre-Pride Bash for young people aged 14–25.
Both venues are centrally located and easy to reach by public transport.
❓ Are the events free?
✅ Yes! All events in the Youth & Family Zone are completely free.
We do recommend booking in advance if you can, so we can plan space and materials – but drop-ins are very welcome on the day!
❓ Do I have to book all the sessions?
No. You can pick and choose the sessions you’re interested in! Each event has its own booking link. Feel free to book one, some, or all – whatever works for you.
❓ Is it okay if I’ve never done art / writing / open mic before?
✅ Absolutely! All workshops are designed to be beginner-friendly, accessible, and supportive.
No experience needed – just bring yourself and your ideas.
❓ Can I just come and watch?
✅ Yes! If you want to attend but don’t want to take part directly, you’re still warmly welcome to hang out, watch, support others, and enjoy the space.
❓ Will it be accessible?
✅ Yes. We’re committed to making all our events as accessible as possible:

✅ Yes! The Saturday sessions at the Museum of Liverpool are designed specifically with children, young people, parents, carers, and families in mind. We encourage LGBTQ+ families and allies to join us and make Pride memories together.
The Friday Pre-Pride Bash at LUSH Liverpool is specifically for young people aged 14–25.

This year’s Children, Young People & Families Zone is proudly organised by Sahir House, who are lifting the baton for Pride this year, with brilliant support from:
