EXTRA INFO

Our group promotes positive physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.

We offer:
  • Support around navigating HIV care and treatment
  • Space to explore wellbeing topics such as stress, menopause, mental health, and self-care
  • Activities and workshops led by trained staff and guest facilitators
  • A compassionate environment where women can share experiences without judgement

Well Together+ Women provides meaningful opportunities to:

  • Connect with other women who share similar experiences
  • Reduce isolation and build friendships
  • Access social events, creative workshops, skills-building sessions, and peer support
  • Contribute to shaping future group themes and activities

We champion inclusion and equality by:

  • Creating a safe, confidential, women-led space
  • Uplifting voices often overlooked within wider HIV services
  • Ensuring women have access to the same support, representation, and visibility as other groups
  • Challenging stigma and fostering a sense of belonging

The group meets regularly for a mix of:

  • Facilitated group discussions
  • Peer support
  • Creative and wellbeing activities
  • Informative sessions with healthcare and community partners

All sessions are free, confidential, and shaped by the needs of the women attending.

At Sahir, we:

  • Provide trauma-informed, women-centred facilitation
  • Ensure sessions are safe, confidential, and supportive
  • Offer one-to-one support alongside group activities
  • Connect women to additional services such as counselling, benefits advice, housing support, or sexual health services
  • Advocate for women’s voices within the wider HIV and community sector
